Chapter 1 my new travels
To me, the world is like an endless book, and every trip is a new page turned. This time, I chose the United States as my destination. After visiting bustling cities and enchanting coastlines, I decided to venture into a mysterious primeval forest, embarking on a thrilling adventure.
The forest was ancient and profound, with towering trees that blocked out the sunlight, allowing only dappled rays to filter through the leaves. It was as if nature had veiled this mystical place with a thin layer of gauze. As I stepped into the forest, I felt an unprecedented sense of serenity and mystery. Birds sang joyfully in the branches, unknown wildflowers bloomed by the roadside, and colorful butterflies danced in the flower clusters. I felt like I had entered a fairy tale world, filled with anticipation for the unknown.
Just as I was immersed in this breathtaking natural scenery, a blood-curdling scream shattered the tranquility. The sound was like a sharp arrow, piercing the forest's silence and making my heart skip a beat. Without hesitation, I sprinted towards the source of the sound, my footsteps crunching on the dry leaves and twigs, creating a tense melody.
As I turned a corner, I stumbled upon a horrific scene. In a small clearing, a girl was surrounded by several men with grotesque faces. The girl was like a forest nymph, with golden hair that shone like sunlight, cascading down her white shoulders. Her figure was perfect, with a full bosom that heaved with each desperate struggle, and her tight clothing was drenched with sweat, accentuating her curves. Her blue eyes were filled with fear and despair, and tears welled up in her eyes like a frightened deer.
The men were brutish, with greedy and evil intentions in their eyes. They spoke in coarse language, closing in on the girl with malicious intent. My anger flared like a raging fire. I had practiced martial arts since childhood, and although I never thought I'd use them in such a situation, I charged forward without hesitation.
The men were taken aback by my sudden appearance, but soon they sneered at me, underestimating me. The largest man, like a raging bull, charged towards me, swinging his massive arms. I dodged his attack, and with a swift twist, I dislocated his arm, making him cry out in agony. The other men attacked me, but I fought back with precision and force, my movements like a fierce dance. I kicked one man in the chest, sending him flying like a broken kite, and another man tried to attack me from behind, but I countered with a swift elbow strike, making him bleed profusely.
Under my relentless attack, the thugs were quickly defeated. Some lay on the ground, groaning in pain, while others tried to escape. I showed no mercy, quickly calling the police and reporting our location and the situation.
After the call, I turned to the girl, who was still trembling with fear. I walked up to her, opened my arms, and gently enveloped her in a warm hug. Her body was pressed against mine, and I could feel her racing heartbeat. I whispered reassurances, "Don't be afraid, you're safe now. Those bad men won't hurt you again." My voice seemed to have a magical effect, calming her down, although she still sobbed softly.
I held her, carefully leaving the crime scene and moving to a safer area. I gently set her down, letting her lean against a large tree. I squatted beside her, looking into her tear-stained eyes, filled with compassion. I asked, "How are you feeling? Are you hurt anywhere?" She shook her head, her voice hoarse, "I'm fine, just... just scared." I took her hand, saying, "It's okay, it's all over. You're brave."
We sat there in silence, waiting for the police to arrive. During this time, I carefully examined her. Her skin was as smooth as jade, with a subtle pink glow. Her features were delicate, like a work of art, with high cheekbones and lips that seemed to bloom like a rose. Her eyes, filled with gratitude, looked at me and said, "You're my hero. If it weren't for you..." I smiled, interrupting her, "Don't say that. Anyone would have helped in this situation. By the way, what were you doing alone in this forest?"
She took a deep breath and began to tell her story. She was an art-loving girl named Alice, who had always been drawn to this forest. She wanted to find inspiration for her paintings, to capture the forest's mystery and beauty. She thought this would be a wonderful journey, but instead, she encountered a nightmare.
I shared my travel stories with her, trying to distract her from the fear. We talked about different cultures, and I told her about ancient Chinese legends, which she listened to with fascination, her fear gradually replaced by curiosity and interest. Unbeknownst to us, the sun's rays had softened, casting a warm glow over the forest, as if nature had wrapped us in a golden cloak.
Soon, the sound of sirens echoed in the distance. The police arrived, quickly apprehending the thugs. They asked me to recount the events, which I did in detail. After ensuring everything was under control, I prepared to leave. Alice looked at me, her eyes filled with a hint of longing, and said, "I hope to see you again." I smiled, saying, "Perhaps fate will bring us together again."
I bid farewell to Alice and continued my journey, leaving the United States for my next destination. In my new travels, I encountered various people and experiences, but Alice's image lingered in my mind. I remembered her terrified eyes, the warmth of her body in my arms, and our brief yet profound conversation in the forest. I thought this was just a small episode in my many travels, but I didn't know that fate's wheels had already begun to turn, setting the stage for a romantic story that would transcend borders.
As I traveled through different countries, I wandered through ancient European towns, savoring the rich flavors of coffee and experiencing the passage of time. In vibrant South America, I danced to lively music, immersing myself in the local culture. In mysterious Africa, I marveled at the majestic wildlife migrations, awestruck by nature's wonders. Each place had its unique charm, and every experience broadened my understanding of the world.
Yet, no matter where I went, Alice's image, like a forest nymph, would appear in my thoughts. Sometimes, I'd gaze up at the starry night sky, wondering if she was looking at the same stars somewhere. I'd encounter breathtaking scenery and suddenly wish she were by my side, sharing in the beauty of nature.
